- All indoor units should be in heating or cooling not both. Indoor units can be in the OFF position if not being utilized without affecting other units. Also, ensure that the fan speed and the vanes or (louvers) are set to the automatic position on your remote control or thermostat.
- Verify power is on to the system. Ensure the breaker in your electric panel is in the ON position and not tripped. Also, verify the disconnect switch at the outdoor unit is in the ON position.
- Inspect the air filters located in the indoor unit. (See video below on how to access them.) If they are dirty, clean them, if system operation does not improve, move to the next step.
- Power down the outdoor unit by turning off the breaker in your electric panel or moving the outdoor disconnect to the OFF position. Wait ten minutes and restore power to the system. Put ALL indoor units on the desired mode (heating or cooling) set temperature to the max setting. (61 for cooling/85 for heating.)
